Kathleen Marsh completed her undergraduate degree in music education at Northwestern College (Orange City, IA) and her Master’s degree in music therapy at Colorado State University.  In 2014, Kathleen completed the training institute at the Center for Biomedical Research at Colorado State University and became certified in the Robert F. Unkefer Academy of Neurologic Music Therapy.

Kathleen has clinical experience working with a wide variety of people in settings including but not limited to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, neurologic rehabilitation, adults and children with developmental disabilities, and hospice patients.

As a therapist, Kathleen has worked with interdisciplinary treatment teams and given community presentations on the benefits of music therapy.  She completed her music therapy internship at Pathways Hospice in Fort Collins, CO.  In addition to her work as a music therapist, Kathleen has worked as a music educator, camp counselor, church musician, and youth ministry director.  She also worked for several years as a care provider for adults living with developmental disabilities.

Kathleen maintains an active membership in the American Music Therapy Association and is a member of the Colorado Association for Music Therapy.
